Elvie - Lost Item

Hi everyone,

I ordered some spare parts for my Elvie breast pump directly from the Elvie website. The items were dispatched via DPD. Soon after, DPD sent me an email saying items have been delayed and they will update me in 24 hours. 10 days later there’s been no update.

I contacted Elvie to resolve - it’s my understanding that as my contract is with them not DPD they need to sort this out. This was there initial response “Upon checking, this replacement has been passed over to DPD. You can use this tracking number: 5363516259

I highly suggest for you to contact DPD directly and ask when they will going to shipped the items to your mailing address.”

There’s been some back and forth and  I’ve linked the consumer rights act but they are insistent I contact DPD. I’m struggling to get through DPD and really the responsibility falls on Elvie. 

What is the next step for me to get my money back? Charge back on my credit card?

If you cancel with Elvie can you buy those spare parts from anyone else?

I tried to cancel the items for a refund and they keep telling me to check with DPD for the items. It’s got to the point where I’ve gone to a 3rd party to get the parts as I have a hungry new born!
