It's down to your appetite and budget for price changes. No one can really tell you either way.
Whilst the tracker may seem nice now what happens if prices rise in January with the price cap.

One is fixed.
One tracks Ofgem - iirc £25 per fuel at cap /Ofgem tdcv levels, below cap. So if this version same, will always be cheaper than flexi the default svt.
So when Ofgem cap as forecast buy CI rises in Q1 and falls Q2 it will too.

Ps that sets from late sep pre Isreal they might update again soon.
One is old style fixed - Ofgem changes no longer matter for year.
The fix will be based in part on their guesstimates of average prices over the year. Not just current quarter cap.
Study the detail and choose based on your own risk outlook..1 -

I only have electricity and my rates are as follow.
Fix - standing charge 44.28, unit rate 29.17
Tracker - standing charge 50.31, unit rate 25.83
The saving on usage is greater than the higher annual standing charge.
If the rates go up in Jan, Apr or Jul, I can always switch again if E.ON Next have a better tariff.
