Diesel Claim - no device fitted?

Hello, I’m wondering what the chances of success are regarding diesel claims when the manufacturer (Ford) say they didn’t fit a cheat device to their vehicles.

I’ve read everything and VW group who made an out of court settlement, said their vehicles complied with regulations at the time (effectively admitting that devices were fitted).

This is NOT the case for Ford. Is there any proof that devices WERE fitted to Ford vehicles please? Thanks

There are claims vultures like Leigh who are investigating and collecting names but don't yet appear to have instigated any actions. They would be one of the first to do it if they thought they could.

What losses have you actually had to claim back? There was no devaluation, you were not charged any more road tax than you would have otherwise been?

Yes I read that too, which is what makes me wonder if there’s any actual evidence that these devices were fitted on the vehicles which some of the manufacturers are stating had no such devices fitted?

We did suffer losses as we lease hired and would have chosen an older/cheaper vehicle if we realised the extra expense was in vain.
