Morning. I've showered and washed my hair with that awful purple shampoo [:)]...it makes my hair lilac but then I am completely grey and white and a bit of a mix and it is cut very short for me to spike up when I remember. The shampoo is just to correct any yellow in your hair or to brighten it...Each to his own I say, do whatever you like if it makes you feel good. I have bought some tangerine and some red dye for my hair but I'm afraid to do it in case I can't get rid of it
Oh well, tip trip this morning, followed by not a lot if I can help it. So there, I am going to enjoy doing nothing
Just packed the car, have been doing the idiot check to see if there's anything I've forgotten because there usually is and then I'm kicking myself when I get back and see it. Sister is coming up tomorrow so I'd better get something snacky or something for sandwiches.
Gers, hope your drive is uneventful and the sun breaks through somewhere. You're not really trapped, you can ask them to gradually lighten it if you really want to go back to the original. Scarlet, hope the metrocentre is also uneventful and the car is fixed as soon as...TA, given the choice between housework and chatting, I'd go with the chatting every timeCoxy, sorry about your dad, hope their plan comes soon. Waiting for no news is agony. Izzy, never heard that expression before, glad she's taken it and left you alone though
snoozer, good luck! Ruby, enjoy the day off! Right, off ot the tip I go and a stop on the way back to see some stuff...Take care all , hugs to the non 100% ers...

Morning all, dull and grey but not cold here.Coxy, I'm so sorry to hear it's not good news for your DD ((hugs))I had my hair done with blonder highlights earlier this year, but decided the expense was too much so now and again I put a colour on myself which is similar to my natural colour. The greys atm are only showing round the temple area, must take after my DDad as he was late turning grey.My DB has just rung to say he's going to call so better put the kettle on.Have a good day, thinking of the poorlies x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Gers,
I have made six layers of sponge cake for Esben's birthday this morning and also been out with the dog. Not very restful.
I'm lucky in that at 65 my hair is still dark brown, I can see the odd silver hair if I look hard but no one else notices. I also have an unlined face so I have inherited the right genes there (mum didn't go grey and she died at 81. The downside is that I also inherited the hypothyroid gene and the tendency to be overweight.9 -
Just popping on to send hugs to Coxy I hope that all the plans align and that your dad and your family gets the help and support you need xSlava Ukraini8

Just popping in to give hugs and prayers to Coxy. I remember clearly when my father's doctor told me not to make the reservations for Hawaii. My father had been at Pearl Harbor in the Army when it was bombed and the anniversary of the Survivors was coming up that he wanted to attend. But doctor told me we wouldn't make it. It was very unnerving knowing, but not really knowing. So I wish you well with your waiting period. That was really the hardest part.5
