  • In one letter I see someone had made reference to when they first recieved the letter from the PPC more than 14 days from the incident. My first notice was 33 days after claiming to have sent a first notice. I didnt realise the significance of the envelope but i cannot prove they never posted the first letter. Can i ask them for proof of postage?
  • Ring up MOTO and explain.
Having read even more of the forum I see the point of this now.  I will look into writing to the CEO's of WHSmith and the CEO of Moto chievley & moto hospitality ltd

No because they don't send it with proof, and aren't required to.

How did the vehicle enter the service station car park?
Who was in possession of the keys when the (arbitrary imposed) two hour limit was reached?

If you were not in possession of the keys at the time ( they had been handed over to a representative for Moto working at the WH smith franchise) then you should name the "driver" ( as in person/company who had possession of the vehcile) as per the moto website:

    Location

    M4/A34 Junction 13

    Address

Oxford Road, Hermitage, Thatcham, Berkshire RG18 9XX

My mother in law was on a flatbed. The police told us to follow in our car and wait for the services to collect the vehicle

    Thanks for this
  • I know that threads are closed once resolved so I wanted to update.

I contacted Moto via their website to let them know I'd be contacting their client. I used a template from the forum.

They responded by saying my appeal had been rejected. Gave me the popla code and 'reduced' the ticket 'back' to £60.

My partner paid it before I could send the appeal letter to popla.

    Thanks for your help guys
