Marcus Bank new higher bonus rate

Same here, used to have savings in Marcus when they were top of the table but since gone elsewhere. At the moment the Santander 5.2%. I kept the Marcus just for the instant transfer into the bank when most money was in a building society where instant access involved next day transfer. It was worth having a grand or two in Marcus just to top up the bank quickly even if it wasn't top rate, but they have always been reasonable ratewise against those instant accounts with 0.1% for the seriously lazy.0

Not the highest but marcus is fast and reliable
Well I guess you've never had an ISA with them and then transferred it to another provider. It took them two months to action the transfer ! Repeated sending of cheques to the new provider that never arrived. Countless phone calls to them talking to incompetent staff and finally involving the Financial Ombudsman. Intitially they refused any admission of wrongdoing - then only offered £50 compensation - finally upped to £100 after further intervention of the Ombudsman. Terrible bank ! By all accounts US Banks do behave like this - stay away !
