Carers allowance supplement

I've recently started claiming carers allowance and when I was looking at whether I'd be eligible I thought it mentioned somewhere that carers got an additional payment of about £270 twice a year. Now I've just looked again and it seems its only for Scotland? Can anyone confirm if carers in the rest of the UK get any additional payments or not?
