Contradicting Signage

I have received multiple parking fines from a local car park which I have appealed using the standard appeal but has been rejected.
The signage in the car park differs between the main sign near the entrance, which is rarely visible due to cars parking in front of it, and some smaller signs on the lampposts around the perimeter of the car park.
Would I be right in saying I could win this in court due to the main sign stating that a £70 fine will be issued for not paying but the smaller signs stating that the fine will be £100?
Thanks in advance

Are you sure you have interpreted that £70/£100 issue correctly?
Yes, we can see the £100 clearly on your second picture...
But isn't your first picture saying that a £70 collection fee will be added to that £100......so that £170 then becomes due in the event of non-payment?

You are certainly having problems reading these signs as KeithP states, nowhere on any sign does it say this:".......the main sign stating that a £70 fine will be issued for not paying but the smaller signs stating that the fine will be £100?"You need to be on top of the game with this, accuracy and facts are important. What exactly are they accusing you of?

I believe the older sign is suggesting it will be £70 plus the original charge e.g £1.50.
They are accusing me of not paying the parking charge despite the meter repeatedly not working.0 -

Here's the full wording of the pertinent paragraph on that first sign you have shown us...By entering or remaining on this land you agree to abide by all the terms and conditions
Parking charges are to be paid within 28 days. Additional parking charges apply for each 24-hour period, or part thereof, that the vehicle remains in breach or if it returns at any time. Terms and conditions apply 24 hours a day, all year round. Non-payment will result in a collection fee of £70 being added to the value of the parking charge. The driver shall be liable for any outstanding charges, collection fees, interest and costs on am indemnity basis. Where any statutory basis exists for any monies due under this contract to be recovered from anyone other than the driver, they too shall be recoverable on an indemnity basis. We are not liable for any loss or damage howsoever caused to any person or property whilst on this site save under statutory exceptions.0 -
Just for clarity, this is not Buchanan Street in Glasgow.
This thread is about a car park in Blackpool.1 -

They are accusing me of not paying the parking charge despite the meter repeatedly not working. If you break their terms and conditions the Parking Charge (or PCN as most PPC's call it) will be £100Further Collection fee of £70 may be added to the £100 (or Debt collection fees as most other PPC's call it).I think you are totally confused by the terminology.1 -
Just do what the NEWBIES thread says which is NOT TO TRY IAS.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

And ignore £170 debt demands. This looks like CPS (Midlands) Ltd and we have a few threads on them for you to search for and read.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
