Still here to tell the tale! Couldn't decide which sandwich to choose, so went for a bit of everything in the 'Christmas collection' triple. Perfectly satisfactory but not outstanding.
In MSE style I paid for it with my Advantage card points so didn't directly cost me anything.Official MSE Forum Team member. Please report all problem posts to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com2 -

I'm been forced to taking an early lunch break and have just eaten a supermarket sandwich out of desperation (didn't get a chance to eat last night and have been reliably informed that I'm getting grouchy). It really didn't taste of anything, much less a fresh product and had a weird claggy texture.
I have eaten hundreds of such items in the past w/o giving it a second thought, yes its convenient but its really not nice food! I have Chris Van Tullekan to thank for my awakening

I've tried Tesco, Sainsbury's and Co-Op Turkey and Trimmings sandwiches and Tesco is the best of the three, plenty of meat and a good flavour. Sainsbury's seemed to be missing something and co-op was OK. Tesco meal deal also cheapest at £3.40.
Also tried Tesco Yule Hog wrap and it was disappointing, very mushy pulled pork.0
