warm home discount

not sure if anyone can help but my daughter has received a letter saying she will receive the warm home discount however she lives with us (her parents) and is not named on the energy bill. We have called the telephone number on the letter and they said we would get it as it will go to the address however to be honest they didn't sound very confident about it, has anyone had this before?  thanks

Last year the reports we heard on here were that the discount was, essentially, applied to the account attached to the address of the person who qualifies for the discount.

I think she needs to be named on the account as it would need to match up. Easiest solution is to contact your supplier & get her name added along with yours. Would need confirmation from both her & bill payer at the time but should be easy enough. It’s £150 credited to your account so worth it

Son had letter and i had an email from my energy supplier saying been added to my bill. Son not named on bill , but because he is on benefits  and lives at my address it will. Had this last year even though we are pensioners.

Our son qualified for it last year. He is only on electoral roll at this address and we got it paid direct to our energy account.
