Hello all and thanks for the start @nmlc x
I’m in the London office today. The train was slightly less busy due to half-term and there are only 8 of us here out of 32 desks. I’m not complaining! I managed to do a little tidying in the garden yesterday, taking advantage of the cool sunny weather. I now have a few bags to take to the municipal tip plus some bits and bobs of packaging in the garage. Thinking I might go this weekend – I know how to live!
Dinner tonight is chilli con carne – was meant to be for tea last night but I forgot to defrost the mince, so we had turkey jalfrezi instead. Very tasty and a portion left for DH to have for lunch today. DD didn’t get the perm local job but did get offered a 3-month temp job near the O2. She is waiting to see whether she gets an interview for another local perm job – short drive away but permanent – fingers crossed this one works out.
So exciting about the wedding @camelot1001 !!
Annoying about the jumper @Gers – I did the same with a cashmere jumper I picked up in a CS – washed it by hand before wearing but it’s a big snug now. May re-donate unless I can find a way to ‘relax’ it. Anyone got any tips?
@TravellingAbuela – your internet woes have reminded me of the one day outage we suffered last month. I must get on to Virgin to ask for a partial refund – wish me luck!
Have a lovely day with Rob @RedRuby1231 and hope he’s got enough food to keep him going ☹
Courgette risotto sounds lovely @snoozer mmmm
Have a good day all,
Coxy

Morning...It takese me so long to get going in the mornings I'm surprised I'm mostly awake now. This week I've made a list of things to do for a change so let's see how many get ticked off. There are 19 things on it so far, one of them will probably have to wait until next week, but i'll give it a go. This is instead of vague plans that sometimes get done, sometimes not. I also booked to go and see Rich Hall in a couple of weeks because we could do with a night out together. OH is off to see an American band tonight so I'll have the leftovers of a chicken spicy creamy bake thing I made up yesterday. One more cup of tea and I'll get going....Coxy and WL, how nice you got to meet. Perhaps we should all do a meet up weekend or something, it'll give us a a chance to get away
I'll drive pretty much anywhere...Gers, glad your drips and blocks were sorted. You have the best neighbours
Ruby, is providing lunch something that can be wangled into your contract? Or is that too much extra work. Hope the SW meeting goes well. Izzy, I feel the same, but then it all gets eaten and I have to start again
snoozer, yes, relax! Rosy, do they do collections?
Take care all, it's a bit brr today, get your blankets out.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi9 -
