Evening all
Anybody have any previous experiences of Tesco giving 0 per cent offers after the end of the initial promotion period.
My initial promotion runs out today and whilst the card is cleared completely, I have a fairly expensive purchase to fund within the next 2-3 months. I have the funds in savings to cover what I want to do, but they are in a 1 year fixed term account, that is not due to mature until about 3 months after.
A money transfer or a purchase offer may be use
Thought I would ask before I start searching the market for options, I have no other cards other than Tesco
Thank you in advance

Hi,
Yes, I get constant offers for 0% MT and BT offers on mine ( just checked and I have offers right now ). Always a 3.99% fee for me but once one month’s offer ends another is offered. Check your app constantly.
They also allow frequent credit limit increases for me too so worth checking in the app for that too if it’s of interest.Best Regards,

I've got a Tesco credit card, I've just checked and I've got 0% MT and BT with 4.99% fee until November 2024. A bit miffed I've not been offered it at 3.99%, never missed a payment and have reasonably large limit with nothing on, use monthly and pay off in full every month.0

I am trying to avoid unnecessary hard searches. already had an auto limit increase after 8 months.
see what the coming days and weeks brings, there is an option there for another card but not 100% ideal solution0 -
I've got the exact same offers as Matt. I've had the card since maybe 2009, consistently paid full monthly statement by direct debit, average spend probably £1200/month.1

If it helps mine is the Clubcard+ credit card ( the one you can get with the £7.99 per month Clubcard+ account. The % rate may be exclusive to that but I don’t know.
i never pass the eligibility check for a 2nd credit card with Tesco but given I have a £15.4k credit limit they probably don’t want to give me more lol.
Again, if it helps, Virgin Money give me constant MT and BT offers too, only a 2.5% fee with them but only 12 month duration. Gave me a £12k credit limit too.Best Regards,

My virgin money card is 3.5% fee for MT and BT so again not as good as offer as yourself. My Virgin card is a £17500 limit with nothing on it. I have wondered if I can do a MT on the Virgin and make the money work for me.0 -
That’s an excellent limit and if it were me I’d keep the card even if you can’t make any MT or BT work right now. You never know what the future holds.Best Regards,

There is a million other possible factors which could render @Volcane eligible and you not. Think of all the data Tesco have on people, often stretching back decades. It's a fools errand trying to work these things out IMHO.
