High electricity usage - could there be a mistake?

You might want to have a look at the standby settings on your devices - as a rule, anything that stays connected to the internet even when 'asleep' uses more power.
For example, google suggests your VM box could be costing you anywhere between £36 to 90p a year for its use when left on standby overnight.

I'm not an early bird or a night owl; I’m some form of permanently exhausted pigeon.1 -
You haven't stated if you have electric showers, their kw rating and how long you spend in them1

Check the overnight usage to see what your fridge/freezer is using. If i check my meter at midnight and 7am the usage is around 70w per hour.
Your level of usage suggests heating of some kind, immersion, electric radiators or shower.1 -
Great, just wanted to check that you hadn't included the digit in the red box.

Often sound systems are power hungry, next would likely be the vm box but most perfer it on for recording and fast start up.Over night readings, until the plugs come in the post0

Do you have a hot water tank? If so how do you think it is heated?
Ours is gas but has an immersion heater fitted as a backup, controlled via a switch (light switch style), if that was left on it would get quite expensive quite quickly (they do have a thermostat, so do shut off when set temperature is reached but it’s electrical energy cost is around three times that of gas).2 -

So not the most energy hungry shower you could have but with 4 folk using it that is going to be a good contributor to your use I suspect, particularly if no active limiting of time taken in the shower is in place.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

There is no way anyone with hair could have a 5 minute shower in a 7.5kw shower. It probable takes a good minute to get upto temperature and in this weather a flow rate that won't wash suds out of hair.Electric showers are the spawn of Satan.5
