Trusted device?

Signing into ebay the other day I clicked on the "do you trust this device" and just had an email from ebay about this.

It said "you've  added a new trusted device. Device Windows (Edge ----- and a number)  Approx location Camden, Greater London, which is nowhere near my location.
If this wasn't you change your password.

Is this anything to be concerned about or have I just added ebay to a safe list on my pc?

Go to https://accounts.ebay.co.uk/acctsec/security-center/devices-you-trust to see the trusted devices. If not sure then delete them all and start again.

The location will likely be where your ISP has a presence out to the internet rather than your location.

I have had this when logging in with my iPad, sometimes the prompt has given a location 200miles away.  If I know it's me logging in and the device is right, I usually accept it.

I've had the same. I've been told 'someone' has logged on at a location far from me but I know it was me.
