Sunday was a meal plan day, going up to Thursday night, after which we are off to the coast.
Spent £34.25 in the shops on Sunday (using £10 from Perkbox flexipoints, and getting a 3% reduction on the next £10), and today was NSD 1/15.
Total spend for month so far is £36.59, with £163.41 remaining.
My Noom coach also recommended me to write things down and I think this is helping. How can I get more veggies in my diet? How can I make it more pescatarian, and eat much less red meat, while still making food filling, tasty and as cheaply as possible? I think it's all working. Tonight's Mary Berry version of a chicken tikka masala was delicious and fairly simple too. On the BBC site if anyone wants to Google.Keep reading books!
July grocery challenge START: £150.
total SPENT £127.53, REMAINING £22.37.8 -

not with todays date on and I can’t drink the bigger bottles in a couple of days. I’ve been eating down the fridge/freezer as I will be buying a new one soon (it’s on the way out and very old) so I’ll be having some strange combinations soon 😂 signature update done5 -
AnotherNewDay - sorry to disappoint, no strange meal today, I’ve been most of the day and couldn’t be bothered to put the sc on before I left, so just had eggs on toast when I got in, my eldest dd keeps sending me sc recipes and there’s one involving noodles that sounds nice but I haven’t got all the ingredients so will have to compromise on some things, goodness knows what it will turn out like but I’ll eat it just the same🤣 that’s on the cards for this week.

No grocery money spent today, but I’ve been and had a look at a fridge freezer so I must use up the food in the present one as much as I can. I seem to have a quite a lot of veggie sausages and veggie burgers in there!£1 a day 2025: £90.00/365 Xmas fund7

Well, I'm all over the place accountability-wise so far this month, between far-flung funerals, vehicle problems & offspring heading off into the wilds of South America. Once DD1 & BF have left this afternoon, I'll hurtle up to the shops to re-stock anything urgent, then sit down, go through the bank balance with a fine tooth-comb, and sort out where I stand this month! We will just be 3 most of the time this month so should be able to keep expenses down - and will have to, between OH's vehicle costing quite a lot to mend, and mine being - no longer viable for us to keep maintaining, alas. Not to mention teeth, and the fact I've basically lost a month's-worth of trading opportunities... aaargh!Angie - GC Jul 25: £225.85/£500 : 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 26/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)8

Amazingly, even with DH with me my shopping was done without going off list! Couldn't quite get all I wanted and there are still a couple of things left on there which I'll try and get on Thursday when I go into town for my eye test. Today's spend came to £28.86 across M&S and Morrisons. Total spend to date is £33.69/£200 leaving £116.31.9
