Dog vaccination

Hi, my dog was booked in for her kennel cough update booster.
The vet accidentally gave her the Vaccinations: Leptospirosis and Health Examination (next due in 1 year)
as well as the kennel cough that she was booked for.
I had no idea as it's all sticker code so paid for the kennel cough vaccination she was booked in for.
Now they're sending me letters and emails demanding the extra payment.
Am I legally obliged to pay for their mistake?

I'm no expert on this but what was said on booking the dog in?
Did you ask for only the one vac?
Will the extra treatments now mean you don't have to have them next year?
I had something similar with a car booked for a short service. Stated also in note on steering wheel but they did a full service. I briefly argued the case but they were adamant that I still owed. I paid because I had other worries to deal with but felt this was unjust.I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

She was booked in for just the kennel cough booster, I would have had to pay for the mistake months after, but I could could have gone elsewhere.

In order for us to make any kind of sensible comment we would need to understand what your hounds vaccination records and or book says about the timings of the previous vaccinations.essex_boy said:Hi, my dog was booked in for her kennel cough update booster.

Ie is what the vet did consistent with the vaccine manufacturers protocol?

a vet should not be giving any animal anything 'accidentally'
if this it truely what happened you should be raising a formal complaint with them and not paying the bill1 -
Kennel Cough and Leptospirosis are annual vaccinations and it sounds like you think they is a longer period in between. What evidence do you have that you only asked for Kennel Cough? Most people book their dogs in for them all at once and Leptospirosis is an injection and Kennel Cough is a fluid up the nose. If you were only expecting Kennel Cough why did you not stop them when you say they were about to give an injection?
Personally I don't think you have a leg to stand on1 -
She had her boosters together at 21/09/2022 and date for next boosters was 09/23 The date of the next was 23/08/2023Jumblebumble said:
