Anyone else having trouble with Ebay login?

I'm finding Ebay very hard work recently and just wondered if anyone else is seeing the same thing.
I use the app but for some reason I keep being asked to login and it won't allow me to use my biometric login, I have to use the email address and password. But that still isn't enough! I then have to enter a passcode that is sent to me via text.
The problem that I've got is that my mobile signal is terrible where I live and therefore, the texts never arrive, so I cannot use Ebay.
Surely the app should just keep me logged in all the time unless I log out? It certainly always used to do that. I also have to go through all of this login stuff just to active offers, which stops me from using said offers because I can't log in.
It's so infuriating! Is anyone else seeing this?

Does your messages app allow you to set it to use wifi (as well as mobile signal)?0

I'm not sure what you mean by messages app, but it's almost always Wifi that I use, very rarely mobile data0

Turn on WiFi calling on your phone and the text messages should come through then.0

About 75% of the time I have to log in with password and text confirmation via a number sent to my phone. I regularly switch the ap between my business and private account so am used to the 2FA.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Which phone is it?1 -
The app that has your text messages. There should be a setting that enables receiving messages via wifi not just mobile signal (2G, not mobile internet) - but saying that, I now can't find it on mine! My previous phone definitely had an explicit setting, and the idea is that you don't need good mobile signal to get calls and texts if you're connected to wifi.CurlySue2017 said:I'm not sure what you mean by messages app, but it's almost always Wifi that I use, very rarely mobile data1 -
My phone is a Motorola and I've checked for WiFi calling and messaging but it doesn't have it unfortunately. A previous phone of mine had it but this one doesn't.0
