i5 to i7 sound issues

I just bought a new (refurb) Optiplex 7020 i7 and moved an SSD from my Optiplex I5. Booted straight up and it appears to be fine, except when I play YouTube video's they sound 'hollow' or maybe 'tinny' is a better word. I checked and both speakers are working so it hasn't slipped back to mono. Given that this is exactly the same SSD and settings as my previous system is there anything I can change to improve the sound?

I'm assuming you are talking about a desktop pc here?

Are you already using external speakers , you don't make that clear

You generally can't just move an ssd from one pc to another as the hardware will be different even from the same manufacturer , you generally either do a fresh install of windows so that all the correct drivers are installed or in windows update there's an optional updates sections where you can download and update the correct and newer drivers for your hardware

Failing that there are free apps out there that can scan your system and update drivers for you
