Hue Motion Sensor

Hi,

I have a Hue Motion Sensor in the Hall, when motion is detected the hall light comes on, a minute later it dims, a minute later it switches off.

This was working fine until today, now when motion is detected the hall light comes on and just stays on.  Tried resetting, deleting the device in the app, powering off/on.

Anyone out there with any insight or other things I might try?

I have worked around the issue by setting up a routine in Alexa rather than the Hue App, alas there is no way that you can control the daylight sensitivity within Alexa, so not ideal.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Is this controlled by a hue bridge? Have you tried power cycling that?

More than likely it's faulty though how long have you had it?

Also check that there is no dirt on the lense and nothing moving in the way of the sensor that can set it off

Thanks for that.  I have not power cycled the bridge, I'll give that a go.  The sensor is quite old, I have cleaned the lens and made sure there are no spiders that could be setting it off.
