    I find it concerning that the original Will sent to Probate can be superceded by an earlier photocopy of a Will signed by two strangers to the family. Can that be right?
    I have witnessed several wills where I would be regarded as "a stranger to the family", although I knew the person whose will I was witnessing.

    It's not down to what he wants. It's down to whatever was written in the latest will, that being the one with the most recent signature. It would be irresponsible (and potentially illegal) for the brother (or anyone else) to ignore the latest will.
