Do I pay?

I have just received a fine from Parking Eye for £100, £60 if paid in 14 days.
I entered a car park in Leyland to go to B&M where I bought some items then came home. My daughter then asked if I could take her to McDonald’s (which is on the same area of shops). So as I entered the same car park again (twice within 1 hour) I was fined. I wasn’t aware that you can’t visit the same car park twice within an hour. Don’t really know what to do here as there is so much conflicting advice online. Any suggestions welcome please

    Do I pay?

    No. Read the NEWBIES thread.

Appeal stating this was two visits not one period of parking.

    ....nor were you fined.

You have received a speculative invoice from a private parking scumpany.

Do exactly as Coupon-mad says.  It can take several readings to absorb, so take your time.

  • Apparently there is a notice saying you can’t visit the car park more than once in the space of 1 hour and I went there twice so this is why I was sent the fine. I am annoyed as I spent money on both occasions in B&M and then McDonald’s and get sent this notice to pay a further £100

Please show me on online where you HAVE to pay.
    An authoritor source please.
And just follow the Newbies guide as previously advised
  • @JaneyS74, stop panicking and read the Newbies/FAQ thread. Just bumbling along and fretting about something that you have no knowledge about but are requesting advice is not going to help you and is just going to frustrate everyone else trying to assist.

Go read the Newbies thread and educate yourself about how this is all handled. When you've read it, go read it again and so on and so forth until you begin to get some understanding.

    You won't ever be paying.

    Regardless of 'appeal' outcome.

Try Plan A first as you must have read about when you carefully read the NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST thread.
