Credit Report 10years

Is there a way to get a copy of your credit report that covers the past 10 years? I need to know if I have ever been refused a loan application in the past 10 years for security clearance purposes and I honestly cannot remember, and want to be sure.
Does anyone know if it is possible to obtain this information? All the credit reports I have come across only go back 6 years.
Thanks in advance,

It bega the question how would anyone know if you had answered this question dishonestly had you a loan refused say, 8 years ago?0

Credit files only provide information on accounts for the last 6 years. Even if they reported longer I don't think it'd help - rejection aren't shown on your credit files.0

As above, only credit accounts opened successfully are recorded on your credit file, rejected applications for credit are not shown, and why would they be.
The question itself is a yes or no answer, which cannot be verified either way, so just be honest.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
