Sone bravia TV. Help

Recently bought Sone bravia TV. But have two black reactanuglar boxes on top left hand corner of the screen. One saying AV1 and another one has three dotes with an arrow.
How can i remove this?

Its the 'Source' indicator; tells you which input you are using. It'll be a button on the remote you have to press, possibly a box with a '+' sign in it?"I'm not even supposed to be here today."0

Yeah, there'll be a button, either +, i, ? that you press to remove the display, may have to press a few times.It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0
