Ebay Issue

Options
Hi All,

I bought four items from an eBay seller about 5 weeks ago, the parcels never arrived so the seller offered a refund. I stated that I would prefer the items if possible as I had spent quite a bit of time with the seller arranging this. As of yesterday the refund arrived and today the parcel has arrived, some of the items have been dented but are still useable. I have contacted the seller and they have advised that what I am suggesting is impossible and the item has arrived back with them, however, due to the large size of their warehouse they cannot spend time reallocating the items to me.

How do I fix this?

I'm confused.  Did you receive the parcel or is it back with the seller?

Received it, the seller has said that it's impossible and he will be unable to reissue it.

Forgive me, but I don't see the problem unless you're looking for a replacement for the dented items?  If the seller thinks they have the items then they're not going to ask you to pay - or even accept you trying to, by the sounds of it.

If you've told the seller that the items they refunded have now arrived, but they tell you you're wrong and they have the items but it's too much bother to locate and resend them, then I'd probably just leave it at that. The seller clearly has a disorganised business.

Should they ever realise further down the line that they haven't got them, then you can always offer to repay them!

Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
