Hi everyone,
Izzy, I was about to ask the same thing as Gers.
Ruby, my heart goes out to you and Rob, it's not fair on either of you and it must be so hard not to worry about him a lot of the time, I feel worried and I've never met him. Laura once went out with a man whose sister had learning difficulties and lived with their father, one time when they visited they found her wearing size 11 men's trainers with scrunched up paper in the front, she'd been sent out to buy shoes by herself and come back with those, I still wonder sometimes how she is doing.
I'm sorry for being such an infrequent poster, it's mainly because when I'm looking after any of the children I try not to use my phone, by the time I'm free the thread is long over and I feel too tired to think of anything much to say.
One of Esben's eardrums perforated on Monday and he had a hearing check yesterday after which the audiologist was able to refer him to ENT but apparently the waiting list for grommets is months, we might have to dig into the piggy bank for it. I took him because Laura had her acupuncture clinic and he was quite funny, he copies the sounds he hears when they happen. The audiologist and her helper were very taken with him.
Talking about Laura, I'm very proud of her, her clinic is going so well in just the couple of months she's been open. One of her clients called her a magician yesterday and said she'd been telling all her friends about Laura. She's been getting quite a few word of mouth clients so that's good.
My foot is recovering I think, the toes hurt when I stand up but it's ok otherwise, fingers crossed this works but he said it would be three months before I know for sure.
Have a good day.9 -
Yes it’s only a year old he’s coming to replace it today it’s like a stone inside on the top is the only way I can describe it but it’s cracked and a piece has fallen off no wonder I have a bad head8

I need to phone the Dr this morning as my finger tip has been sore for a while now but yesterday it started to swell and go dark red it’s so sore to touch or pick anything up and I have no feeling on the finger tip, it looks like some kind of infection so hopefully I can get to see someone today.I really don't want to worry you but this could be sepsis. There is info here from the NHS. Please go to your local pharmacist - they will be able to tell you if it's serious and you need A&E or a doctors appointment.
Please put out food and water for the birds and hedgehogs7 -

Evening all, v. late from me, but glad you managed to see the doc RR and got antibiotics. I feel like I've been on the go all day. I caught the early bus to go swimming, called into the library and then went for my flu jab. Got home, spoke to my friend and then went to pick up DGS. He was ages coming out, no particular reason but he was in a very chatty mood. DS & DGd were sat outside his house , his keys were on the other van that DH swapped with him this morningSnoozer, great to hear Laura is doing well & so are you in supporting her with childcare etc.I have read through but forgotten most things
so I hope those of you feeling poorly ( and relatives) are ok soon x

Good evening
Not sure where my day has gone, not alot accomplished but never mind there is always tomorrow.
DS2 came home from hospital yesterday, he was told he could go at 11, waited for medication until 5. Got home at 6.30pm.
Been told that op has worked and the mechanism is all fine now they’ve put the new one in. He’s still in a lot of pain though. I had to take 2 days off as I was due to work night shifts.
Redruby - hope the antibiotics work.
Gers - hope you enjoyed your trip
DP1 - hope you manage to get some rest. I enjoy your tales of your dgd.
TA - enjoy the show.
snoozer - glad your dd clinic is doing well. I do think looking after dgc is exhausting-hope you also manage some rest.Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Thanks for all the good wishes for Ds2. Take care9
