How do I delete an email account from Gmail on an Android 13 tablet ?
This would appear to be impossible - once set up ?

Remove a Google or other account from your phone
- Open your device's Settings app.
- Tap Passwords and accounts. If you can't find 'Accounts', tap Users and accounts.
- Under 'Accounts', tap the account that you want to remove
Remove account.
- To confirm, tap Remove account
Remove account.
- If this is the only Google Account on the device, you'll need to enter your device's pattern, PIN or password for security.
1 - Open your device's Settings app.

It depends what you mean by delete a gmail account.
If its a case of no longer wishing to receive Gmail on the tablet (but to receive it elsewhere) then go into your Google account settings and set Gmail to not sync. You can then remove the Gmail app.
If you want to permanently delete the Gmail account then you'll need to first stop it syncing as just explained. Then go to your Google account on the Web and delete from there. If your Google account is set up with your Gmail address as your username this will delete your Google account.
Please note that the method given in post #2 will remove your entire Google account from the tablet. This will impact other Google services you use and any apps you've paid for.1 -
