Divorce - Clean Break roadmap

Hi,
I’ve just applied for my conditional order.
We’ve only got one asset that we’d like to divide via a financial order and that’s the house 55/45. Ill hopefully be brought out, otherwise it’ll go on the market.
Is the procedure to wait for the conditional order, then get the financial order drafted by a professional (it’s just that one asset), and then apply for a Clean Break (again, drafted by a professional), or can they be applied for together?
Also, am I missing anything or made any assumptions?

By "conditional order" do you mean "consent order"? A Family Lawyer should be able to draft a Consent Order which includes the Financial Settlement details and Clean Break clause all in one handy document for The Court to review and approve. It'll need to be approved by your ex who will also be advised to take legal advice before it goes to Court.

It’s definitely a conditional order - used to be referred to as the decree nisi

Ah, my bad. In that case, the Court won't approve a Consent Order until that's been granted. No harm in contacting a Lawyer whilst you're waiting to get it up and running in readiness though.
