Flight cancelled by Easyjet - what can I claim back?

My recent flight was cancelled by Easyjet after checking in.  I found the only other available flight that day to the same destination with Easyjet at another London airport and changed our flights through the Easyjet app.  All good.

However, I then incurred costs of petrol and Dartford toll to travel to the new airport and the cost of additional car parking in the short stay car park as not enough time to do the long stay anyway and get the shuttle bus etc.

I also got to our destination later than originally planned so had to take a €30 taxi rather than the free shuttle bus to the hotel as planned.

Are any of these additional costs claimable and if so, can anyone advise how I go about it please?

You should be able to claim most of the items you list (some may get challenged). To claim you must have receipts (so not sure how petrol is included). You need to enter the information and upload receipts on their website at  https://www.easyjet.com/en/claim/welfare.

Claim for everything and then see what they are willing to pay out.

Just to check, they should also pay compensation as a separate head of claim unless the cancellation was due to extraordinary circumstances beyond their control - I suspect that they'd reject at least some of that reimbursement claim but if compensation is payable then that should cover all costs incurred....
