My car insurance is with Saga. £322 last year, £322 this year increased to £366 due to changing the car and will be £366 next year. Not looking forward to 2025.

That looks like a bargain to me, the cheapest I can find is double what I paid last year

Same here, I am shocked at what I am being quoted. I went to TESCO as I have home insurance with them, and they quoted me £1,700.00. I paid £320.00 last year and the cheapest I can get this year is £600.00. The car is in the garage for most of its life, I did 3000 miles last year!

    Try Bymiles.
My 5008 is very expensive for some reason.
I got quotes from all around the uk, Places I used to live.
    £1000 - £3000, Bymiles £105.00 parked fullt comp etc. plus 9.3p a mile I drive.

Purely because Saga offer three year deals where the price remains the same. Three year period ends at 2025 renewal so not looking forward to that.

I decided to take the deal I was offered following various other peoples claims about insurance prices going up so much this year.

I managed to get it down to £50.00 more than what I paid last year. I was quoted £600.00, that dropped to £470.00 after some negotiation, and then they dropped it to £370.00 as I said I had a competitive quote from another insurer for £360.00 (which I didn't) – Just shows they are playing a game and being opportunistic citing chips shortages etc, they are just after making more profit for their shareholders
