What's the symbol next to the usb c port?

I'm finding it strange that dell would supply a laptop with a barrel port and a USB c port to charge your laptop, surely it would be one or the other

Further research leads me to find that there is a 2 in 1 version of the dell 7390 which has a dedicated USB c charging port and no barrel port, I wonder if dell support are getting the two mixed up

It's possible your USB c port can charge your laptop but at 5v only hence why it says slow charging (I'm betting any phone charger would charge your laptop if I'm right but at 5v only)

That would explain why your tecknet power delivery charger can't charge your laptop but the ugreen can

Thank you, I think you have it spot on there.
The usb c port should be a Thunderbolt 3, but it only has a D next to it, so clearly, just a display port.
I'm sure the spec when I ordered said Thunderbolt, but the info on Dell site when you enter the service tag is impossible to make sense out of. I'll have to call them again!

Thanks again for the insight :)
