Sports Direct rejected item

Hi All,

First time posting and wondered if anyone has experience or advice with this!

I recently returned several items to Sports Direct and received an email saying one item had been rejected saying:

"Whilst processing your return, we have found that the product label does not correspond to the labels used by Sports Direct. Upon closer inspection, it would appear that the item has been purchased from an alternative supplier. With this in mind, we’re unable to issue you a refund or exchange and therefore the product has been returned to you."

I am utterly dumbfounded by the email as every item returned was sent to me by Sports Direct. 

I’ve protested my innocence but have gotten nowhere.

I have recieved the item back and all the tags are exactly how they appeared when I recieved the item first time.

Do I just have to accept it as I have no proof or what can I do??

I’ve essentially been accused of something I didn’t do, it’s is more the principle than the money! Very irritating!!!

just a thought, the item hasnt got any other reference to one of mike ashleys (frasers group of companies??)  im sure i read somewhere that somebody purchased something from studio (one of his purchases and they received the item with sports direct labels and stickers on them - at a cheaper price than they paid from studio!!)

Don't take this the wrong way but you haven't actually said whether the tags are Sports Direct tags.  Are they?

If they are then you need to go back to them and ask them what they're playing at.

If they aren't, whose are they?
