WhatsApp only one contact and blocking
I’m going on hoilday with my mum only want to stay in contact with her during hoilday.
Will get a new sim with new number for hoilday, on WhatsApp how can I make sure I just have mum on it for new number no one elese, I know you can mute it I already have but I would be too tempted to check.
I got old phone I can use all I will have on it WhatsApp google maps, and maybe YouTube
Also anyway to block someone on a WhatsApp group, everyday without fail he says good morning, I need to stay on it for Important notifications.
Why have WhatsApp not added that block feature for groups and do you think they ever will?

You can mute a group, so it won't send you notifications.Click on the group name and you'll see the Group info. Under Media, you'll see Mute. You can mute for 1 hour, 8 hours or 'when I turn it back on'.Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

If you set up the phone with a different google/apple account/email and phone number from your other phone it won’t have any contacts. You can then manually add your mum and start a group to contact her.0

You can archive any groups for the week so that you don't see any notifications even if you go into WhatsApp.
