Lasting POA - Scotland

My mum made a lasting POA via her solicitor in 2010, is it necessary to register the POA? I thought the solicitor would have done everything that was needed when it was set up. Thankfully she’s still in good health so no plans to invoke it but she’s anxious that everything is in order.
Many thanks.

The POA should have been registered with the Office of the Public Guardian"Powers of attorney – those which are to continue or begin in the event of incapacity – cannot take effect until they've been registered with the Office of the Public Guardian"
Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid1 -
If it has a red seal on the front of the original then it has been registered and the first page will say it's been registered.
