Smart (ish) Alarm clock radio - what is available?

I have the Lenovo (Goggle variant) and it does just what you list.  Even better (perhaps only with Google?) you can turn the display off altogether overnight (the default lowest brightness is always too bright on alarm clock/radios for us but we're just odd like that I think).  Google is still working here but I guess may fail/stop at some point in the future.  

We're sticking with Google (don't want Google AND Amazon devices), but if you've nothing against Alexa get the Argos device and have a play.

As regards always listening it doesn't affect me I live on my own and don't talk to myself, I have nothing to hide if I did, I might be wrong but I don't think Alexa is listening until I wake her up by saying Alexa 

You have nothing to hide until the government brings in a law that criminalises you! And Alexa is always listening, how else would she know you said Alexa?

The "official" line is that Alexa doesn't report anything to GCHQ until triggered by the key word...........
