Annual Travel Insurance - cover for each trip or collective?

Hi
Sorry I'm not used to travelling so not too clear regarding travel insurance. As I have 2 trips planned (both in Europe), annual travel ins is coming out cheaper. My query is, cancellation cover on the policy for example is £1500. Is that for 'each' trip or both combined. Same with the baggage lost cover and all others. Do i need to double the amounts on the quote? Thank you

Its per trip per traveller covered so if you are insuring you plus your partner on the policy its effectively covering trips up to £3k
