    If you want to really de-risk then buy an annuity. An asset allocation of a year or twos cash in the bank to cover emergencies and cash flow, a DB pension or annuity and SP for basic income and then close to 100% equities for growth and discretionary spending works well for me.
    And so we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.
