Oven fan wiring

Been changing the element and fan motor on our oven. The wiring on the new motor is on the opposite side. See images.
Brown motor is the old one, white the new.

Brown motor is the old one, white the new. Does the live/neutral wiring look OK on the new motor?
As it was on the other side, the wire to the earth didn't reach. So i took the earth tab from the old motor, fitted it on the other side of the new motor and connected. So now there are earth tabs on both sides of the new motor. Earth wire connected on the left. Is this OK?

Yes, perfectly fine. Moving the earth isn't an issue as the tabs on either side are connected to the motor chassis, and the fact it's a AC motor means that it doesn't matter which way the live and neutral are connected. The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.2
