No you don't need a solicitor.

The hearing should NOT be in their city it should be in yours.  You need to email them.

Do you qualify for help with fees?
If its at mediation it will still be at the CCBC

I think that the white lines relate to the parking spot that is adjacent to your car. That bay that you parked in does not appear to be marked out but has all the hallmarks of a parking spot. This has been tried on before by other PPC's.

You have not parked selfishly and deprived another motorist of a parking bay. I assume that you did not block any mororist in. IMO if this goes to court you would have to be very unlucky in the DJ lottery to lose your case.

Except they haven't defended.  Which is why we need to know if they qualify for help with fees because they can apply to amend their defence.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thats a shame because this claim could have been easily defended.

thank you so much for your reply
I missed the mediation and I lost the original letter sent to me for the court date, I mean the one I replied to online and set meditation, now I am stressed out if the case goes to court without my knowledge.
do you think I should send an email to DCB and ask for the court date and time?
or i should wait to recived a further letter with the details of the court date and time?
I have looked online at the claim last update says Your claim was transferred to BARNET on 27/10/2023.
for the fee, I am not sure how should i find out if I am qualified for help. at the moment I am on a low income but I do not claim any benefit.
how do I check if I qualify?
thank you again for the kind reply

If your case was "was transferred to BARNET on 27/10/2023" - 27th October is today - then you have not missed any hearing.

Wait for a Notice of Allocation from Barnet, which as well as telling you the hearing date and time, will also give you a deadline for filing and serving your Witness Statement and evidence.

hello everyone firstly thank you for all your valuable comments and help, during this time I received many phone calls from DCB and i asked them to send me an email. they sent a few emails and offered to discount the full amount or negotiate that I did not accept,
I am pleased to let everyone know with your help today I had a Notice of discontinuance from DCB,
I also had a letter from the court that I am now liable for the cost which the defendant has incurred,
this is now clear to me that the parking space with that narrow wall is just a trap for the motorist to get a penalty charge.
thank you all and good luck to everyone who getting to this situation
