Universal Credit and notional capital

Hi I'm worried about what Universal Credit considers notional capital, if, for example , I spend £50 on gambling per month, would the DWP consider this expenditure as unreasonable and add it on as notional capital? I'm really just curious as to what I can and can't spend money on.

No, not at all. What you spend your money on is entirely your decision, there's no rules for this. They are not interested in any expenditure.1 -
Notional capital is only for when you've deprived yourself of savings.
What you spend your actual income on in a month is of no concern to them.
(Income does not become capital until any of it is left unspent at the end of the next assessment period after receiving it.)1
