I just stuck supplementary witness statement into the forum's search facility, changed Best Match to Newest and within minutes I found this post from last week...

Hello all,
I lost my case against CEL. I am a bit frustrated that it may have been a case of me losing it rather that CEL winning it. The judge didn't seem to consider the CEL v Chan evidence in my WS. I assumed that she would have read it all beforehand. But I wondered if it was my duty to raise it after the initial argument about the suitability of the "unclear" signs at the site. The judge made her decision based solely on her belief that the signs were adequate and didn't refer to any of the other points raised in my WS.

The law is effectively "whatever is said in the courtroom" and she won't necessarily have thoroughly read your submissions. She just listened to what you both said.Probably less grounds for appeal as you didn't raise it to her attention, BUT I am not a lawyer. And CEL v Chan was in your WS bundle and she ignored it, so technically that's wrong.
Nothing to stop you asking on the Contestor Legal site if they think you have a case they'd take on for appeal. I would ask their lawyers urgently.
They will call you back and they achieved the CEL v Chan appeal outcome which was after the first Judge erred.
I am sad to hear your outcome.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hope you don't mind me asking, in what way did you say the signage was defficient? Height? Size of writing? Any other aspect like location or number?
(Did the judge have super human zoom vision?!)
Do you think the CEL v CHAN thing would have helped if you included it from the start?
Did you request appeal based on judge not viewing it in the added to bundle?
Hope you are ok.
