I can't add anything helpful for the OP, but this is a useful warning for anybody who will need to reverse the door to check what it entails.  I had always assumed it would just be a case of undoing a few screws to fit the hinges to the opposite side of the door.  How wrong I was.
Some of the features in the newer fridges are a bit crazy!! Digital panels on the door (guess that is why there's wiring in the doors), wifi connectivity. I saw an ad for a fridge where the door is black glass and when you knock it twice it goes clear!!
My friend has that model, and another has one with a camera that tracks what is in the fridge and you can check it remotely via an app , add expiration dates etc

says did it for a week then stopped

but the remote camera thing comes in handy time to time when at the shops

Me being me would double check that the holes actually needed drilling, get annoyed with samsungs quality control and drill them , if you are handy with a drill then samsung will never know....

As for if it ever breaks down and an engineer comes to fix it and by some miracle they ask who reversed the door when that's the part that's not broken (they won't ask and probably won't care) then simply say that's how it was delivered to you

If Samsung treat you like that now, imagine what they will be like in a year, if you have a problem.

If the doors are that complicated to reverse (this one isn't, just the holes have not been made) then they should either sell two models where you select left or right model, or they should at the point of purchase state that to have the door opening the other way will be an additional charge of x amount.
except of  course  responsible retailers  who use  actual installers  wilkl have the trained staff to perform the door reversal either prior to or more likely on site after delivery  and unpacking when they commission the fridge

Installers for a fridge/freezer? You're having a laugh. The retailers will just have delivery personnel who will unpack it. Installing it will be putting it where you say and plugging it in to check it works.

A fridge with a glass door and a light which comes on when you tap twice.  Talk about a solution looking for a problem!  I just open the door, and don't pay over £2k for a fridge freezer.  It's a bit like the internet connected kettle you can switch on via an app.  Great idea unless you forget to fill the kettle before you go out!!

I've just had a Samsung repair and the service was
greay. They diagnosed it remotely over the phone with a camera app and booked a quick repair in with a local firm

glad we went with them as they had a 5 warranty. LG screwed us over after several repairs and washed hands of it after 2 years was up and we had to claim against them. Wouldn't touch them again after that experience.

Or the app controlled shower which will take longer to turn on using an app then pressing a button
