Recommendations for young children in Birmingham City Centre

Hello,

I've booked a cheap family room at the Premier Inn at New Street Station in Birmingham during the October half term.

I'm now looking for good activities for 2 young children in Birmingham City Centre. The ages are 3 years old and 7 years old.

We don't have a car so can't travel to places like Cadbury World etc. and will just need to stay in the city centre.

Can anyone recommend any good ways to spend a day in Birmingham City Centre?

Can't you just get a train/bus there?

Iy depends on what your children are intersted in but  I would think you would need to travel  to places. thee are buses and trains and there mat be orginsed trips to tourist places.

 Do a Google search for things to do in Brimingham with kids.

Cadbury World is adjacent to Bournville station on the Cross City Line from Birmingham New Street. Trains are very frequent. 

Also look at Sea Life Centre at Brindleyplace (the other side of the Symphony Hall). I recall you can get discounted tickets on packets of sweets etc.
