Hi don’t judge me but I’m considering getting a DRO as I’m struggling. I’m a little confused on how to make an income/spending budget on step changes website. I am married and all of the household bills and debts are in my name. How do I work out what income and bills are mine alone and not my husbands? Will they take my husband’s benefits into account? Or is it purely worked out on what money gets paid into my account and the bills that are in my name?

Put the whole situation in.
For a DRO, it is only your income that counts but partner income is used to decide how the joint expenses are split.
You know Stepchange don't do DROs? Have you tried Citizens Advice?1 -
Judgement gets left at the door on these boards, don`t worry about that.
I would look at Citizens advice to get your DRO rolling, stepchange backed out of their provision some time ago.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
