UK Parking Control Limited ticket - Letter from GCTT - "WARNING BEFORE THIS CASE .. SOLICITORS"

Hi all, I am writing as my girlfriend back in May this year had parked mistakenly in a disabled bay for around 10 minutes (the car park was completely empty) and she did not mean any harm.
She has just received a letter, I have attached it to this thread and wanted to know what my next steps should be, whether I should pay the fine or whether this is one of those that I ignore? She is very stressed about this as we are both struggling financially to pay £170 right now.
I appreciate all the help and reply, I really do. Thank you all.

You must ignore the drivel from ZZPS and GCTT, ... same money scammer outfit (look at the bottom of the GCTT letter)
Both are powerless and simply cannot do anything but send out this rubbish from their comfy home in the sewers
YOU DO NOT OWE £170 ... IT'S A MONEY SCAM

Just ignore GCTT who are just ZZPS using different headed paper.
I have no sympathy though, for someone who parked in a disabled bay, unless it was poorly marked. Drivers must never do that.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

And I guess once the new Code of Practice is in place, PPCs will be very much more sharply focused on monitoring disabled bays, because they will be among the most lucrative opportunities for them. Appeals anywhere along the appeals route will be among the most difficult with which to succeed.Coupon-mad said:Just ignore GCTT who are just ZZPS using different headed paper.

I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

That's going to be a good thing, especially as the appeals section says PCNs must be cancelled if a person shows a BB at appeal. So the innocent are protected.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
