Hi guys,
So I have got a letter through the post from "Debt Recovery Plus" which is the first time I have been made aware of any contravention. They apparently want £170! how do I proceed with this. The vehicle is registered to a company so am unsure of how to proceed.
Thanks

Newbies/FAQ thread is your first port of call. Anything from DRP+ or any other debt collector is to be ignored. They are powerless to do anything, no matter how scary their letters appear to be.
Up until recently (not so) Smart Parking were not litigious. However, recently we have seen a trend in them trying it on. For now, do not disclose the identity of the driver.
Also, (not so) Smart Parking, did not use PoFA and so could not hold the RK liable. And, very often, (not so) Smart Parking do not have a contract to issue parking charges at their locations.
So, plenty to use in your appeal. However, we always advise to try Plan A first. Complain to the landowner/store and to get your MP to intervene. Have you tried that yet?1 -
We assume that the Lease Firm who hold the logbook gave out an old address for the company to Smart?Kerro05 said:Hi guys,

Or the company holds the logbook as owners (not leased) and it has a wrong address on it?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
