@joedenise - I've heard a little of YNAB through the years on here but not really sure what it is? I'll just keep plodding on with my wee separate pots to keep me right.@squirrelz92 - I might need to look into an account with them.Debt Free - 4th June 20251

YNAB is basically a massive spreadsheet which has been set up by an American organisation but the version I have is an old one. the one they have now costs about £80 a year! No way am I paying again when what I was sold back in 2014 was sold as a one off payment for life!
I may well set up a Starling account in the future as recommended by @squirellz92 with all it's pots even if I have to consolidate some of my current "pots" (I have over 40!).

Are you intending to complete a SOA? Just a suggestion as it may enable others to offer further suggestions.2

Hi @joedenise, it would definitely be worth filling in an SOA as Baron suggested so we can all see if there are any areas where you could perhaps save a few more pennies? I believe a good one to use is SOA Calculator (lemonfool.co.uk). I found this very useful on my thread as folks suggested plenty I didn't really think of in the beginning. xDebt Remaining: £8,781.53

This isn't my diary - I was replying to @_dolly_Rocker whose diary this is! Have to say I agree with you though that a SOA is a good idea.Squirrelz92 said:Hi @joedenise, it would definitely be worth filling in an SOA as Baron suggested so we can all see if there are any areas where you could perhaps save a few more pennies? Ooops! This is what happens when I read too many diaries! Apologies @joedenise! @_Dolly_Rocker_ the SOA suggestion is definitely worth doing as it has helped so many gain a different perspective from other people! xjoedenise said:

I haven't because I've cut pretty much everything already so all that's left is stuff that I really really need.[Deleted User] said:Are you intending to complete a SOA? Just a suggestion as it may enable others to offer further suggestions.

Hi DollyRocker, just discovered your diary. Well done on getting through the last few years. And for keeping your mortgage going in such a horrible situation! Have subscribed, good luck x
