balance transfer error

HI hope you can help me .
I applied for a balance transfer card from Tesco last week and was accepted.
Once the cards arrived i transfered £1700 over from Natwest and decided to transfer a £400 from Barclays and close account down when completed. both transactions were showing as pending on my Tesco app.
This morning i noticed the balance on Natwest was cleared but Barclaycard was still showing £400 on their app but was completed on Tesco.
I rang Tesco to ensure everything was ok but it was discovered i have typed one digit wrong from my Barclaycard, they advised me to ring Barclays to see if the card number i gave them is a live card or not.
After speaking with Barclays and trying to explain what i have done(he did ont quiet get what i was saying) they have said they cannot tell me if its a live card or not and i will have to wait a couple of days to see if money is transferred to Tesco.
Can someone please advise what next steps will be if the money does not go back into the Tesco account.I am really worried that i may now of lost this money and know its completely my own fault but i did think i checked both cards twice.

AFAIK, if it's ONE incorrect digit the number can't be correct/live because of the check sum or some similar algorithm. There are many online checkers, e.g. https://www.validcreditcardnumber.com .
And, please, learn the lesson and from now on use copy&paste whenever possible for all important financial transactions.1 -

Thank you for your reply. yes i have learnt a very expensive lesson here.
Please excuse my ignorance here but i dont quite understand your reply. are you saying this cannot be someones live card .It is only one digit wrong, the middle 4 digits should read 5600 and i have inputted 46000 -

I have just checked the online card checker and this is saying the card is not valid or recognized thank you for this0
