Chase Bank - change form of verification

Options
Having searched through the many threads on the Chase banking App ID, can anyone contribute to a specific query I have.

I am about to swap device, but the form of ID I used when I registered on my current device has expired.  So when switching to a new device, can I use the alternate form of ID?

Any help gratefully received.

Kind Regards,

Bill

It is probably best to call Chase and ask their customer support.

Please post their answer on here
  • If you have another valid form of photo ID, just go ahead and swap over.
You will either be asked to provide ID again (use your other form of ID), or won't be asked at all (no problem).

you'll need to follow the new device login procedure, and upload your ID again.

That said, I don't have any personal experience to confirm this

Thanks to all for your comments.  I did contact Chase via the app messaging and confirmed that you can use a different form of ID.  When and if I need to use this method I post the result.

    Kind Regards,

I've done this as I've changed my phone before, all they wanted was a selfie though that wasn't the same as the last one, but close enough to be regarded as the same person. Didn't need anything else.
