I've been enjoying catching up on past series of Taskmaster which has been showing on 4Extra - channel 126.  Suddenly the EPG is blank, has been since last week. There's also no listing on Radio Times online for it.
I've done a channel update on my Humax box though assume that as there's no listings that it's not a problem affecting just me.
Does anyone know about this issue please? I believe that the channel is broadcasting and, if I select the channel the programmes are playing, however I record TM as I'm an early to bed type of gal.

Thanks

Working fine on my LG TV here in the West Midlands - I don't have any recording facilities.

All the old episodes are on the Channel 4 player thing btw, watch on there as a temporary fix?

I have been, thanks anyway.  I like to whizz through the adverts.  Anyway, I see from a thread in the Techie board that the answer may be something to do with high pressure weather we're experiencing. Not sure if that would affect the Radio Times listings, but I'll be patient.

No thats just the Radio Times being useless.

Use a different TV guide, I suggest the Tvguide.co.uk website.  C4 Extra very much still broadcasting

Thanks - I know that it's still broadcasting, just want to record from it.

FreeSAT from the satellites in the sky and received by a dish is not affected by High Pressure enhanced propagation interference.  FreeVIEW via a UHF TV aerial from terrestrial transmitters can be.

126 E4Extra SD is the freesat LCN and is "all present and correct" on my Humax Foxsat-HDR.  (Freeview it is on LCN 31)

126 is on Tp frequency 10936 MHz, Vertical along with a bunch of other Channel 4 channels (inc a couple of $ky encrypted ones).

Lack of up to date EPG may indicate an issue with the freesat home transponder reception on 11425 MHz, H.

Use the Humax signal Diagnostics meter to check S and Q for 126 (E4Exrtra) and 999 (Freesat info, on the home transponder).
Double check all cables from the LNB are properly made off and inserted.  See if they are damaged/kinked and fix if so.  You may need a dish alignment check - but do see if some vegetation has grown to partly obscure the dish, too.
