DAB radio/cd quality recommendations please

I have freeplay dab radio in the kitchen, which works brilliantly well.
In our lounge, upstairs, we have a creative radio/cd which also works very well. I want to replace the creative with an up-to-date DAB radio/cd player in a neat unit

I am thinking(only thinking) about bose but I have seen names like pure etc. I read some reviews in which people said that bose had too much bass and wasn`t so good on top notes

I welcome your opinions and tips please
